In this movie André, the father of Remco explains that some people react strangely to Remco.

André: Voor andere mensen is het vrij moeilijk om contact met hem te krijgen.
Omtrent wat hij doet.
De mensen zijn bang om hem te benaderen.
Bang, van 'hoe gaat dat'.
Hij is anders dan de andere mensen.
Soms het je wel eens het idee dat hij een enge ziekte heeft of zo.
En dat is de drempel die de mensen overheen moeten gaan.
Vooral vreemde mensen.

André: It is difficult for other people to get contact with Remco.
Because of how he acts.
People are afraid to approach him.
They think: How does he do that?
"He is different from other people.
And sometimes people react as if he has a scary disease.
And that is an obstacle for some people. Especially strangers.
