This Site The Team Sonny Lotje Femke > Laurette < The Coaches Thank You Fun	Laurette I am Laurette and I live in Almere. My birthday is April 24th and I am 16 years old. I am a first year's student Doctors Assistant. My school is the ROC College in Lelystad, which is 30 km from Almere. I travel by bus and train to get there. It takes about an hour. My hobbies are ice skating and play the flute. I have skated for about 10 years now, and I have played the flute for about 7 years. This is my 3rd time that I join a ThinkQuest competition. The first one was the Dutch competition. Last year I joined the international competition. I was in a team of 4 girls and we have made a site about people who are mentally disabled. You can have a look at: www.look.nl.nu This year I had to join a new team, because I was in a winning team last year. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about this new subject. I never knew that blind people were able to skate!!! And it was fun teaching them.
