Question: How old should you be when you start Irish dancing? Answer: People in the world of Irish dance prefer 3 years old but I prefer 7 or 8 years old.
Question: When did you get your first pair of hard shoes? Answer: When I was 6 years old.
Question: How old were you when you started Irish dancing? Answer: When I was 6 years old.
Question: What dance do you prefer for beginners? Answer: A soft shoe dance called the Reel.
Question: How long does it take to get in to competitions? Answer: The average amount of years is usually 1 to 2 years, but it depends on each person’s skill level.
Question: What is the hardest dance for you? Answer: A hard shoe set dance by Michael Meehan called Plaxty Davis, it is a very difficult dance and can last for about 3 minutes.
Question: How long does it take to be a teacher? Answer: You have to be 18 years of age or up, and you do a 3 day test, and if you pass, you become a certified teacher. Teachers are required to be certified in order to take their students to competitions. |
