Australia's government type is democratic. The life there is like our life. They speak mainly English, are mainly Christians, but instead of baseball, they love cricket. They have the same rights we have, the right to vote, freedom of speech, women's rights, etc. Their leader is John Howard, the Prime Minister. Their schooling is like ours too, but schooling is their top priority, that's why they have such a good literacy rate. The government pays for the healthcare, and they do have natural resources: coal, iron, copper, tin, gold, silver, nickel, lead, zinc, diamonds, natural gas, and petroleum.

New Zealand used to be part of Great Britain as was Australia. It played a big part in World War II. Now it is at peace. New Zealand is a great place to live in.
