Carolina Herrera

Carolina was born in Venezuela. The look of her designs is sleek, chic, and glamorous style. She makes wedding dresses and evening gowns out of satin. She mostly makes cocktail dresses which are dresses that poof out at the bottom of the dress and trumpet dresses that do the almost the exact same thing. I think her designs are beautiful.              

Carlos Miele

Carlos Miele is from San Paolo, Brazil.  In addition to being a very good designer, he tries to help underprivileged people in his home town, San Paolo. He trains local women in the handicraft methods that he uses to make his clothes.   His clothes are structured and busy with bold colors. He uses plenty of patchwork. Some of the famous people that wear his clothes include Christina Aguilera, Penelope Cruz, Alicia Keys and Naomi Campbell.

Tammy Apostol

Tammy is also from Venezuela. She studied at The Academy of Fashion Design, while attending high school. After she graduated, she took private couture lessons from the French couturier Antoinette Veerspor, while attending the University of Virginia.  She started her company in Miami, Florida, with her partner Gerry Kelly.  She has been designing clothes for 14 years. Her designs are inspired by the glamorous fashion icons of her childhood.  Her designs are a combination of conservative and adventurous.
