What are some of the Safety
Tips?
If
you are ever caught in a hurricane, then according to FEMA for
Kids, there are certain things that you need to know. FEMA advises that you keep basics such
as a portable radio, food and water, with you. You should
always have a storm kit prepared and available. This kit
should contain: water, soup, flashlight, band-aids, sterile gauze
pads, scissors, and tweezers. You should have on hand a
several day supply of non-perishable foods with you; also keep an
extra change of clothes, shoes, rain gear, and blankets. And
don’t forget to stay
indoors!
