The Cyclops
The Cyclops was one eyed monsters that lived in the mountains. The most famous was Polyphemus who was blinded in the eye by Odysseus.

There were 3 others, Arges of thunderbolts, Sterops of lightning and Brontos of thunder. The Cyclops was imprisoned in Tarturaus in the underworld, but Cronos helped them to escape. They invaded Io ,Hermes killed Arges and Apollo killed Brontos.

The Centaurs
The centaurs were half men half horse. The wisest of them was Chiron. He was the only immortal centaur and was tutor of many heroes such as Achilles. Though Achilles drank some of the centaurs wine, the Centaurs were outraged. There was a long struggle and Chiron got injured. He lived his life in pain and he traded his soul to free Prometheus.

Medusa
Medusa was ugly though she wasn’t always ugly. She used to be a lovely young girl and the daughter of Phorkys and Keto. Phorkys and Keto were the children of Gaia, the titan of the Earth and Oceneas, the titan of the sea. She was one of the three gorgon sisters and the two others were called Sthennos and Euryale. She was the only mortal of the three and was once very beautiful and lived where the sun never came. When she turned ugly she grew snakes as hair
