| #1 Takedowns are scored when a wrestler brings his
opponent down to the mat. You must have control of your
opponent. Common takedowns are single leg, double leg, fireman's
carry, and a high crotch. Takedowns are worth two points.
#2 Escapes escapes are scored when a
wrestler controlled by his opponent escapes. Escapes are worth
one point.
#3 Reversals are scored when a
wrestler on bottom becomes on top of the other wrestler.
Reversals are worth two points the most common reversal is a switch.
Reversals are worth two points.
#4 Pins and back points, back points
are earned when a wrestler puts the opposing wrestler on his
back. If the wrestler is on his back for three seconds you get
two points. If the wrestler is on his back for five seconds you
earn three points. A pin is an automatic win no matter
what the score is. for a pin you have to have the wrestler on
