Hunting With the Coyote

When the coyote hunts, it usually hunts in groups of 2 or 3. Since the coyote's main food is antelope, they get tired from running all the time. So when one coyote gets tired, another coyote takes over.

After awhile, the first coyote will lay where he or she thinks its prey will run next. Then if the coyote was right and the prey runs almost over them, they will jump up, grab the neck, and take the animal down. They will let their companions catch up to the meal before they start eating. Then they will devour the antelope. That is how the coyote hunts.
