Here at this web site we show you the dangers of a tiny thing, the mosquito. We also share our experience dealing with a disease called dengue. As we live in one of the many danger zones found in tropical areas around the globe, we have to take every precaution possible not to catch the disease. Many people out of reach of dengue
don't know what it is as they don't live in a danger zone. This
web site is also for people who live in those danger zones but don't
know what to do to prevent getting the disease. So go and explore our website and
learn how to act against dengue. Maybe you could also share your
knowledge with other people that you know!We are students and we are writing this web site for students about our age (middle or junior high school). We hope the language is easy to read and understand.
We use the phrase "mozzie wars" in our title because the best way to deal with dengue is not to get it in the first place. In Singapore, "fogging" is used a lot to kill mosquitoes. The fogging is a kind of insect killer. We also try to get rid of mosquito breeding areas. So, we are kind of at war with mozzies, a nickname for mosquitoes used in Australia.
