Ancillary Services are extra services provided for tourists such as liaising with them to arrange for hotel bookings or tour guides. Examples of organisations that provide such services will be the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Singapore Airlines (SIA).

As you shall find out in the ‘STB’ section, the STB’s role is to develop Singapore as a tourism hub and a business centre for Asia . It not only advertises Singapore to foreign tourists, but also marks it to tourism-related organisations, such as airlines, who consequently benefit from the extra profit they reap.

Another provider of ancillary services is the SIA, Singapore Airlines. Crucial to Singapore ’s development as a tourism hub, SIA boosts the number of tourists arriving in Singapore by raising its number of flights and destinations. The SIA, for instance, has recently increased the number of air carriers it controls to approximately 90. Through all this, the SIA has made Singapore a more accessible country that tourists can reach conveniently.

Ancillary Services

We provide a wide array of services in Singapore so that your tourists needs are fulfilled! For example, our Singapore Tourism Board provides ancillary services such as reservations of hotels even before you step into Singapore!
