Seth
Seth is the second child of Geb and Nut. Seth got married to his twin sister Nephthys. He looked like a human with an animal head. He had a curving snout , long ears and a pointy tail. His skin was white and his hair was red. He was called the god of chaos , thunder and storms and was also the god of destruction and the sandy desert. According to legend he traveled with Ra in the sun boat while he was attacking the Apophis the serpent of chaos. Legend said that he was jealous of his brother Osiris and he killed him, taking the throne away from him. Seth was later beaten by Horus Osiris's son. Seth was the ruler of Upper Egypt before the first pharaoh, king Menes, united Upper and Lower Egypt. Seth struggled to gain control over Egypt seems to be reflected in the mythology. Seth was portrayed about asking the authority about his brother Osiris. He now seemed to be Osiris's evil brother. The story was then on told that Seth was evil ever since he was born because he ripped himself out of his mothers womb by ripping through her side. In the Osiris legends, Seth is the one that fools and murders Osiris. By the 26th Dynasty, Seth represented evil.
