Tropical Storm Tammy

Tammy had been a tropical wave located near the African coast. It traveled across the Atlantic and became Tropical Storm Tammy close to Florida’s coast, on October 5th. Right before crashing down on Atlantic Beach, Tammy reached 50 mph winds. During that night it hit Florida and continued inland to Georgia. While over Georgia, Tammy lost all tropical storm statistics and returned to a tropical depression. Only a day after forming, Tammy had lost circulation on October 6th. No huge problems were reported, other than the flooding of homes, roads, boardwalks, and dams. A small F0 tornado was found as a result but luckily, just a couple roofs and trees were harmed. Not seeming like much but still these damages totaled about $30 million!
