Hurricane Nate became a tropical Storm on September 5th about 300 miles southwest of Bermuda.  Over the next couple of days Nate strengthened to hurricane intensity with sustained winds of 90 mph by the 7th.  It increased speed as it passed southeast of Bermuda and then weakened again to a tropical storm on the 9th.  Nate finally weakened to an extra-tropical low pressure system on the 10th.
