TROPICAL STORM GERT 
Tropical
Storm Gert was a tropical storm that formed near Honduras on July 23. It reached winds speeds of 45 mph by the
following day. It was formed in the Bay of Campeche. As Gert made landfall near Cabo Rojo, Mexico, it brought heavy
rainfall in the same places that were affected by hurricane Emily, less then a
week earlier.
