Extravagance of upper class:

In our society the extravagance of upper classes is very common. Here the upper class means rich people and those who are linked with government. Their extravagance often results in snatching the rights and happiness of the needy people. This leads to resentment of lower class towards upper. This is portrayed in a "A Tale Of Two Cities", in which French government's luxurous life is the backbone of corruption and revolt from lower classes. When the monsieur was in the town the readers were told that he had four men to only cook and serve his evening coffee. All of them had gold wrist watches . The extravagance can also be seen by the fact that the monsieur didn’t need four men for such tiny tasks. Monsieur’s rooms were also full of the best things known to people at that time. For him all of the world's pleasures were made for him. Monsieur was habitual of having his “little” supers in places like luxurious pubs and engaging theaters.

Today in our society this thing is quite common. The upper classes are too extravagant which lower classes see as quite a pain. Their daily needs are full of luxuries and even the smallest things are bought expensively and are of the most branded companies, sometimes these people even consider it as a insult to buy cheaper brands. They compete with one another and brag and boast about their acquisitions.   Their homes are so extravagantly built that middle classed people are awed by the beauty. The homes are filled with the every product of luxury that is known to the mankind. Even if they cut  down two or three of the products, a poor can get the food for three times in a day. The rich people become heed less of the needy and were ignoring the poverty around them.
