Coral reefs play an important part in the lives of millions of people around the globe. There are four main goals behind selecting this topic and building the Website. They are:

• Goal 2: To deepen the understanding of the importance and complexity of the coral reef ecosystems and the issues surrounding its management among students worldwide.

• Goal 3: To increase knowledge and instill an increased respect in all our visitors for the coral environment, fostering an enhanced sense of personal and social responsibility.

• Goal 4: To cater to a wide variety of audience; the site offers our visitors the opportunity to learn by selecting information that is provided (text, games, animations, interviews, photographs, demonstrations, etc) in a way that is natural to most of them.

With these major goals in mind we talk about the coral reefs in all parts of the world. We talk about the problems that are threatening their health. We also talk about steps that have been taken to protect them and that can be for what we think can protect this delicate paradise.
