Jane Goodall specializes in information concerning chimpanzees. She has been living in the monkeys’ habitats of the Gombe Game Reserve in Africa for at least twenty-five years. Her observations of the chimpanzees continue to amaze scientists all around the world and have lead to many important conclusions concerning evolution and conservation.
Dr.Goodall received her doctorate from Cambridge University in 1965. Two years later she became Director of the Gombe Stream Research Center. One her many honors include winning the J. Paul Getty Wildlife Conservation Prize. Her other awards would fill countless pages.
Jane writes papers continuously to support her causes. She has even written two books: Wild Chimpanzees and In the Shadow of Man. She gives all the credit to her mother who raised Jane to be the extraordinary women she is today. She has now spent over thirty years helping the chimpanzees and has founded the Jane Goodall Institute to help further research in this field.
