“Diet Coke is a sugar-free counter-part brand for Coca-Cola. The product was introduced in the United States in July 1982, and was the first new brand since 1886 to use the Coca-Cola trademark.” Diet Coke was initially sweetened with saccharin but aspartame was used when it became approved for use in the US. The company released a new “formulation” in 2005 named “Diet Coke sweetened with Splenda”.

Diet Coke contains aspartame which can be considered a toxin. In a study, seven monkeys were injected with aspartame. One died and five had grandmal seizures which is a casualty rate of 86%.
