The Jews were persecuted
throughout the ages. They were treated like outcasts. One of the
most well known tragedies is the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a time where
the Naziswere
collecting many Jews and other religious groups and killing
them.
A man named Adolph Hitler ran
the Nazis. In the holocaust, about six million Jews died. Before
the Holocaust there were 15.3 million Jews in the world. In 1939
there were over 9.5 million Jews in Europe.
