Hindu Practices: Workshop 10H
The Hindu people do not have a set way to practice their beliefs. Every Hindu person wants to release his or her soul from the cycle of birth, death, and re-birth. After re-birth, the next life that one will be placed in depends on the way they lived his or her last life. This cycle of lives is called Samsara. Hindu people believe that if they are able to release themselves from the cycle, their life will finally be completed.

You see, in order to be considered a Hindu, one must be born into the religion. For this reason, Hindus do not focus on converting people to Hinduism as much as Christians attempt to convert people to Christianity. Some people may consider this fact strange, but to Hindus, it is part of their lives and how they live them. A Hindu can be considered five things and still be a Hindu. They can be:
Worship

Hindu worship is a individual thing, something practiced in one's home. Almost every Hindu has a small shrine built in their homes, one with which they worship their deities. However, sometimes, in India, there are shrines along the roadside and other sacred sites so that travelers may still pay homage to the gods. Hindu people worship when, and wherever, they choose.
