Cross
The Cross is the most common Christian
symbol today. It represents the death of Christ. They are many
versions of the Cross. Some versions have developed from the
culture of ancient people. Other versions have specific meanings,
such as the Cross of Calvary. The Cross of Calvary is also known as
the Graded Cross. It is a regular cross that has three steps going
up to it. The three steps represent faith, hope, and love. The
oldest cross symbol is the Greek cross. The length of each
“arm” is the same on this cross. However, the most
common cross is the Latin cross. This cross is mostly favored by
the Protestants denominations because it is very plain and reminds
Christians of the resurrection of Christ.

The Lamb
The lamb is a symbol of the Christ, no
matter which way it is pictured. The cleanest, best lamb was always
used for a sacrifice in Jewish ceremonies times. Not one bone of
the lamb was to be broken during the sacrifice, and when Jesus died
on the cross, not one of his bones was broken. He was also the only
perfect person to live on the earth, according to Christians. The
different images of the lamb, such as it lying by a cross with a
hole in its side represents the devotion of Jesus Christ when he
died on the cross for the sins of the world. A lamb on a throne
symbolizes Christ’s judgment.
