Christians can be found in almost every country on Earth. There are around two billion Christians in the world. The majority of Christians are Catholics, with around 1 million people. There are about one-third billion Protestants, with one- fourth billion Orthodox believers. The largest single group of Christianity is the Russian Orthodox Church. China and Japan are home to some of the smallest Christian communities in the world. The largest growing area for Christianity is in Africa.

Christianity is one of the largest religions in the world. There are around 2.1 billion Christians. Approximately 33% of the people of the world are Christians, 21% are Muslim and 16% are non- religious. The race is on between Islam and Christianity because the growing rate of Islam is quickly overcoming Christianity. One of the largest growing areas of Christianity is in Africa, where missionaries are helping people all over the continent.
