King Priam was king during the Trojan War. When Hector was killed by Achilles, Priam walked into the Greek camp and asked for Hector's body so he could be buried. Achilles approved, although he had already dragged the body around Troy three times. Later, in the palace of Troy, King Priam was brutally murdered by Achilles' son, Neoptolemus. |
