John Elway
John Elway, like many other famous football players, was drafted in the first round. John was drafted by the Baltimore Colts. Elway was then traded to the Denver Broncos where Elway would spend 16 years in the NFL. Elway had a total of six championship wins, and two super bowl victories. He is remembered for carrying the Denver Broncos 98 yards through Cleveland Brown turf to win the Championship game. He is the only Quarterback in NFL history to pass for more than 3,000 yards and run for more than 200 in one season. In his career Elway had a more than 40,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing. Elway played in 9 Pro Bowl Games. Elway was named the most valuable player in 1987.Elway will always remain a legend in the NFL. He is a member of the National Football hall of Fame.
