Jim Brown

Jim Brown played for nine magnificent seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Jim Brown was Cleveland’s first draft pick in 1957. He was then named rookie of the year. Jim Brown would later go to play in the Pro Bowl game a total of eight times. He had 12,312 rushing yards in his 9 career seasons. He was incredible with a football in his hands. He dazzled Americans and gave hopeful Browns something to cheer about.

Jim Brown was an amazing athlete, but at just age 30 he retired. Jim Brown was at the highlight of his career and he retired. What he would have done, had he kept on going, the world will never know.
