Phantom of the Opera

Phantom of The Opera is a tale of mystery, and will keep the audience sitting on the very edge of their seats, all the way to the final number. Gaston Leroux wrote the original book upon which was created this magnificent production. It is a spectacular show, with incredible costumes, and amazing special effects that will awe you. Many of the performers even dance wearing pointe shoes.

The story Phantom of the Opera is about a singer named Christine. She is charmed by a Phantom living underneath the Paris Opera House. The story begins when the Phantom begins wreaking havoc on the opera house, and the lead singer, Carlotta, refuses to perform, until the Phantom is gone. Through the Phantom's devious maneuvers, Christine takes her place and is a huge success. After the show she meets her old friend, Raoul. When Raoul leaves, Christine finally meets this Phantom. The Phantom takes Christine to his lair and tells her he is in love with her.

Phantom on the Opera is shown in Magestic Theatre, located on 247 West 44th St.
