Ticket Pricing

TicketmasterBroadway Tickets! We all know that sometimes it is very hard to buy cheap, affordable tickets to some of the fantastic shows we want to see on Broadway. There is a hard way and an easy way to buy these tickets. The hard way is to stand on line 2 hours, before the show starts, to buy the tickets before they are sold out, either at the theater or in the middle of Times Square at the TKTS booth. The easier way to buy tickets is to simply pre-buy them. One way to pre-buy Broadway tickets is to go on the internet and order them to be mailed to your house. Another way is to simply call and have the tickets mailed to your house. These days there are so many ways to do something.
For the internet you can choose from so many sites to buy your tickets. Such as:

and many more. To order on the phone just call Ticketmaster of course! All you have to do is make sure you click or call one of their options and make sure your you have a mailbox!!!!!

There are many different types of seats. First, there is the orchestra location, which is always the most expensive, they are the closest to the stage. Then, there is the mezzanine location. Lastly, there is the balcony location, the upper part of the theater. For matinee (or daytime) performances, balcony seats are always the cheapest, being that they are on the third level and are the furthest away. At Shurbert Theatre, for example, the price of balcony seats is between $30 to $90. The mezzanine tickets are from $80 to $110. The orchestra tickets range from $100 to $110. Pricey! The evening performances may be more expensive also, but then again, maybe they won't. Pricing also depends on the time of year.
