Hey, I'm Casey and I'm in the eighth grade. I was so excited to work on this ThinkQuest Project, because I absolutely love theatre. I was always attracted to the great music and a night out on Broadway. My favorite Broadway show is Phantom Of The Opera because of the special effects, and beautiful music. I even got to meet Sandra Joseph, who plays Christine! I also loved Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.
I love to dance. I am enrolled in a local dance school. I take Ballet, Jazz, and an Accelerated Ballet class. I have a great passion for dancing, and when I am up on stage, I feel so free and happy. I have danced with the Moscow Ballet, and the Albany Berkshire Ballet. This past summer, I took a one week dance intensive, and a one week misc. dance camp. This summer, I will be attending a 2-week dance camp.
I was in Chicago over the summer. It was so much fun! I made tons of new friends, and I enjoyed acting and singing on the stage. I was also in Annie, Annie Warbucks, Hello Dolly, and Anything Goes. As everybody can see, I love theatre!
In school, I am in NJHS (National Junior Honors Society) Earth Science (High School Science) and High School Math. I am also part of Newspaper at my school. I also love reading. I love The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, and Meg Cabot books.
I have a West Highland White Terrier. His name is Scruffy! He is so loving and adorable too!.
I would like to thank Ms. T, Megan and Sam for making this project so much fun! I really enjoyed working on this, and I learned a lot about computer programs, such as Flash and Dreamweaver.
