I joined the Thinkquest challenge 2006 as I want to experience and international competition. I also took part in it as I feel that it will be very honourable to have our product, which means our website, shown all over the world.

After Thinkquest, I learned a lot about making websites, extracting and modifying information, copyrights and much more. I also learned about the importance of water conservation and teamwork too.

As the artist of the team, I came up with the design and also the graphics for the website. I used to think that a designer's job is a solo job and I was so wrong. Not only did I have to discuss the layout of the site with the rest of my teammates, it was hard to get them to agree on the theme for the site. I was also very dependant on their information in order to draw accurately. Our team’s team-sprit has also strengthened a lot after this competition and we are now more bonded together as a team.
