Patricia Bath
Patricia Bath was the first African American woman to invent medical devices. She invented a Cataract lens for eye surgery. Patricia had prevented blindness witch led her to being able to help the blind to see again, even if they have been blind for 30 years. She sold her invention to Japan, Canada and Europe.
Patricia Graduated in 1968 at Howard University of Medication. In 1975 Bath became the first African American woman to work at U.C.L.A Eye Institute of Blindness. Patricia Bath was elected in the Hall of fame for Howard University.
