It is originated from Peru, but
Europeans did a lot of research to know more about cat’s
claw, because it has medical effects. In peru the local traditional
therapies used it against inflammations, infections, tumours and
against other deformations and arthritis.
German experts claim, that its
content of active substances is largely depends on the matter, when
the plant was harvested.
The cat’s claw strenghtens
the immune system, because it makes the activity of the white
corpscules more intensified, so they make more antibodies, in order
to eliminate all kinds of bacterias, viruses or wogs. It eases
inflammations, lowers high temperature and salves pain, so it
blocks tumours to spread over the body. It is antioxidant so
it makes the recovery time of the body shorter and this fact
supports the endeavour against thrombosis and it also makes the
blood circulation of smaller blood vessels more intensive and
stimulated. Some of its active substances are diuretic or
increases the parasymphatic functions of the autonomic nervous
system.
It is useful to use the cat’s
claw tea or other products made of it to strenghten the weak immune
system and against chronic bacterial or fungoid infections. We aslo
use it to cure the arthritis or tumours and we can use it as a
complementary treatment of thrombosis, too.
