All sellers and buyers must meet the lead disclosure requirements
All occupied buildings must be free from lead based hazards. Otherwise health department has full right to set new standards due to what lead is.
Local enforcement personnel have all the authority to inspect all child care, schools, and residential buildings to make sure that those surfaces are all child friendly.
The city is allowed to prosecute any one trying to violate the lead based laws through any court jurisdiction to make the landlords or owners come to obey and respect all lead laws. The city also has the full right to fine the landlords to the minimum amount of $500 per each violation committed against the lead laws each day.
Lead disclosure rule is active and is used to inform any buyers of lead based properties from 1978. (Documents must be included.)

Landlords aren't allowed to take any action against buyers that report to high officials about any code violations. This law also protects buyers who turn to help organizations of any sort to help with and illegal violation or wrong code violations.
Sellers and landlords must have a pamphlet or book on lead poisoning before buying or leasing the home.(Such As: Lead Real Estate Disclosure Form)

Must give buyers a reasonable amount of time to inspect the house lead based paint. In any case hire a licensed lead based inspector to test the home and record all lead hazards found. After the work is approved owner will receive full document of work.
