Eggs are  full  of  proteins.  Proteins are important because they build muscles. These vitamins help keep our bodies healthy.

Egg is made of two parts - yolk and egg white. Yolk is the yellow part in the middle.



One of the good things about eggs is that each egg has only about 60 calories. This makes it great food to eat if you do not want to gain weight. Chicken egg yolks contain a small amount of fat. Most of the calories and fats in egg come from the yolk. The egg white is made of protein only and it has only 15 calories.  Therefore, if you do not want to eat fat, just get rid of the yolk.

For example, puddings and creams often used raw eggs in the past. This is not the best idea because raw eggs can be contaminated. One way to avoid this is to use egg substitute from your store. The egg substitute has been pasteurized. This is a process where eggs were heated to a high temperature to kill bacteria. This is why egg substitute is safer for creams and desserts that use raw eggs and will not be cooked or baked.
