What are Books?

A book is not just a book. It is a way to go somewhere else or explore something new. For the author it is a way to channel ideas and put knowledge and wonder into the reader’s mind. Did you know that you are actually teaching yourself when you read? Maybe you didn’t. Books are great and enrich you mentally. Different genres could interest, baffle, or enlighten you. It is good to have time to “curl up” with a good book to release stress or anger without the use of electronic things like the “T.V.” or video games. In conclusion, a book is a great thing.

What Types of Books are there?

There are many types of books and these are called genres. Mystery, adventure, fantasy, science fiction, and humor are all genres. Other, maybe less exciting, genres are nature, romance, biography, historical fiction, and non-fiction. Some books may be from the view of the author, some talking about you, while others may have the author talking about him or her. No matter what the book is, it still has value and it is important to respect that. In other words, don’t judge a book by its cover, and maybe that book could become your favorite. Try to change what type of books you read often to be able to read about different plots and endings. In conclusion, acknowledge other books, keep your mind open about them, but most important…read.

The Future of Books

Sit down. Read. For the future of books is unknown. Books have been things that send us to another place without us ever going out the door. Yes, books have entertained us for hundreds of years. You probably have a book you cherish and/or own. Series will be completed, and plots will unfold after climaxes, so get reading. Even though the book’s future is unknown one thing is sure, good books live on.
