Counterfeiting had become increasingly popular in the United States in the past few decades. It was getting easier and easier for amatuers to duplicate the color, the designs, and even the feel of real money from the comfort of their homes. Since then the government has taken huge steps in currency security to stop counterfeits from comming into circulation.
