Arguably the greatest band of all time, The Beatles were immortalized in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. They got their start in 1962 when they came out with their first major hit, "Love Me Do", which sparked the phenomenon we now refer to as "Beatlemania" all over Europe, and soon spread it to the U.S. through an American tour. The Fab Four went on to set the record for more number one hits than any other band, with an incredible seventeen.
