Islam
Islam is a religion found mostly in Asia and the Middle East. During the seven hundreds and eight hundreds the Muslims, people of Islam, went out conquering the world. The Muslims conquered Spain and France. They stayed in France for some while. The Muslims, however, were accustomed to the very dry, arid climate of Asia and the Middle East, and France is a very humid subtropical climate. Also their horses and infantry were not able to move easily through the rough terrain of the Pyrenees Mts. in France. Thus, they eventually pulled out of France back to Spain.
