Melee Combat
Melee combat was hand to hand or close ranged combat. There were several types of weapons you could use. Some had blades. These were used hack and slash and other methods to neutralize and enemy. Bladed weapons were swords, daggers, and other weapons like that. Bludgeons were hard weapons used to crush anything in its way. You went in to battle swinging hoping to hit an enemy. If you did hit someone there were almost instantly neutralized. Bludgeons included clubs, maces, and other weapons like that. There were also pole arms. These weapons could keep an enemy with a sword out of range to do anything. Pole arms were used to jab at someone from a farther distance. Pole arms were spears, javelins, and other weapons like that. They also include the pole axe.
