Ballistic Weapons
Ballistic weapons were very valuable during the medieval times. One reason was because they easily outclassed charging footmen. Another reason was that they could be fired long ranges with supreme accuracy. They sometimes even knock a knight off his horse within a certain range. Three ballistic weapons you will learn about in this section are the long bow, the crossbow, and fire arms.
