Ruth

I am an eighth grader at Hampton Cove Middle School in Huntsville, Alabama. I first started the Thinkquest competition in seventh grade when my web design teacher asked me if I was interested. For this website, I wrote about thru hiking, section hiking, trail etiquette, and hiking together. I also helped design the website and the information architecture. Our Thinkquest project this year was initiated by our English teacher, who had all of the eighth grade students form groups and enter the contest.

I am in eighth grade at Hampton Cove Middle School in Huntsville Alabama. I worked on the preparations section of this project. The preparations included Food, Physical Conditioning, Gear and Prices, and also Shelter. This project has taught me many things including how to do research and how to work as a group.

I am an eight grader at Hampton Cove Middle School. We did lots of research on the Appalachian Trail. I did all of the research for the animal information on the website, and I also helped with the cool game! We did lots of research and work on this site I hope that you enjoy it!

I am an eight grader at HCMS. I worked on the non-profit organizations on the trail and the endangered plants page as well. Our group worked together and got a lot accomplished. I had so much fun on this project. I hope that you like our site. We worked so hard!

I did the health info, like where you get the water and the risks that come with the trail, and the Leave No Trace info. I also helped with the game.
