Terrific Tyler

Hi, I’m Tyler. My family has four members. My dad’s name is Dan, my mom’s is Holly, and my sister’s is Abby. I have two pets, a dog and a fish. Patches is the dog, a Tibetan terrier, you can guess where she’s from. Goldie is the fish, she’s 4 years old! That’s pretty old for a fish.
One of my many hobbies is reading. I really liked the series The Dark is Rising, about Will Stanton, the last of the Old Ones, who are immortals, dedicated to protecting the world from the Dark. I was on the Edina Gators Swim Team last spring, and got 3rd place at the swim meet. I also love to ski, and my family took a vacation ski trip last spring. I go to Hyland Hills Ski Area often. Another of my hobbies is tennis. A couple summers ago I did a tennis day camp. My family and I go to tennis courts to practice frequently.
I am a green belt in Kung Fu, too. I’ve started the Instruments and Sparring class, and I am getting pretty good with the staff. I also did a Lacrosse Introductory Camp for a week last summer. I got a lacrosse stick for Christmas. Piano and trumpet are the instruments that I play. I am on my third year of piano, and I have just begun trumpet.
Here are some of my favorite things. Penguins are my favorite animals. Eagles are my second favorite animal. My favorite food is chicken pot pie. Blue, purple, and gold are my favorite colors. My favorite subject is writing. I have written many little stories for myself, and I really want to be an author when I grow up. I would also like to be a detective, because I like to figure things out. I play the game CLUE a lot to practice.
Another thing I would like to do is be an astronomer. I find space and time very interesting. I really like time-travel books and movies. I like them especially when they time-travel to the Middle and Dark Ages. I find everything with knights and King Arthur and dark English castles interesting. My favorite continent is Europe, and my favorite utensil is a pencil. So there you have it, all about me. I hope you like our website!
