During a volcano:

• · Stay away from and do not visit the volcano site.
  ·Be aware of mud and lava flows. Staying in doors will only help against ash.
  ·If you are indoors staying out of the ash be sure to close all windows, doors, vents, or anything that will allow the ash in the building.
  ·If you must drive in ash be sure to take caution and drive slowly. Do not exceed over 35 mph.
  · Following to close to the car in front of you is hazardous.
  · Do not cross a bridge if a mud or lava flow is approaching.
  · Know that heavy rock and ash may be falling and to avoid any interaction with it if possible.
