Over the last hundred years wrestling uniforms have really changed. They first had long pants with no shirts and no shoes to some really sporty one piece tank and shorts outfit. Now they have special shoes that really help.

1925

In 1925, mens wrestling uniforms were long black pants that went from the waist to the ankle. They didn't wear a shirt or jersey. The shoes were light and white.

In 1945, the pants were changed to shorts and shoes were higher up on the ankle. They had a choice as to wear a shirt or not.

1965

In 1965, again the uniforms changed. They wore a tank tops with pants. The most noticable difference was that the school's initials were added to the tank tops.

During the 1980's, a one piece tank top and shorts were worn. Tight fitting leggings were worn underneath. The school insignia was added to the lower left thigh.
