India's future may be in trouble. There population is increasing rapidly, and they already have over 1 billion people. India is located in Asia, bordering the Indian Ocean. Because they have a large amount of land, at 3,287,590 square kilometers, they have a good amount of arable land. Other than arable land, they have 2.74% permanent crops and 42.86% of other activity. India is not in good shape as of now; the only way for them to become a developed nation, is to lessen their population and to lower their high debt, which is very difficult. About ¼ of their population is below the poverty line, and this is another reason for their restriction from developing to a developed country.
