Working with the team has been a wonderful and enriching experience for me, and also an eye-opener in that I learnt to hone my skills in both searching for content and phrasing. More significantly was the experience in working with people from all over the world. We had to compromise sleeping time due to the different time zones and everything depended on our mutual trust, as there was no way we could make sure the people overseas did their work due to the fact that our only mode of communication was via online chat, email and an online forum.
I had also learnt to cooperate and coordinate with other people on the project so as not to overwrite anyone's work. In addition, I learnt to compromise and manage my time more effectively so as to be able to handle and balance all my commitments. Compromise of sleeping time also happened frequently toward the deadline. Through the project, I am sure I have understood and learnt more about my overseas counterparts' lifestyle and culture and broadened my perspective of the world.
This project is one that has imparted to me much knowledge and skills that would prove invaluable later in life. Also, I have discovered much more about my capabilities and aptitude via this joint cooperation than any other I have taken part in before. Therefore, i am absolutely certain that the enlightening and immense work experience I have gained throughout these few months working with this magnificent team will become indelible memories and remain with me for life.
