Pulmonary Embolus is
caused by the clots in the circulatory system, from the right side
of the heart. A Pulmonary Embolism can affect as many as 5 out of
10, 000 people in the U.S. per year! A sudden death can certainly
occur from Pulmonary Embolus. If a patient wishes to avoid
developing clots for the leg surgery, he should walk or engage in
physical activities. Leg exercises would be of great help.
People get this condition
pretty rarely. Some symptoms include coughing, in which they may
have some blood in the saliva. After that they may experience
shortness of breath, and splinting of ribs when trying to breath.
Some people experience faintness and dizziness. Also, it can not be
transmitted from physical contact.
