A chloroplast is a
part of a cell that looks like a little green thing. It is green
because it contains the pigment
chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is a main item that helps the chloroplasts
create the cell's food during
photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process that the cell creates its
food from the water and the sunlight, two main things needed for the
plants to survive. This is like a cafeteria because it provides the
cell's
food and the chlorophyll is like the cooks ,along with the water and
sunlight, because it is what
makes the food.
