Q. Are all people who don’t have jobs homeless?

A. NO! if a person just lost their job, they are not going to lose their home the next day. If a person is in debt and has been out of work for a while then there is a possibility they could loose their job.

 

Q: Why do people living in poverty tend to be sicker than those not living in poverty?

A. There are many reasons behind this fact. A few of those reasons follow:

Poor people may not have the money to visit the doctor, and therefore end up with more diseases than average.

More people living in poverty are less educated, and educated people tend to take better care of their health.

Poor people tend to have living conditions where sources of diseases are more likely to exist. This is especially true in developing nations where poor people often do not have access to things such as clean drinking water and the like.

 

Q. How do people become poor?

A. Sometimes if a parent loses its job, or if the family has problems they can't overcome.
