Fennec Foxes are omnivores, which means they eat plants and animals. Fennec Foxes will eat most plant materials. They also eat small rodents, birds and their eggs, lizards, and insects, such as the harmful migratory locust. These foxes can also survive in the wild without water for an indefinite period of time. Some of their foods are obtained by digging, for in captivity they have a habit of digging and raking at the ground.
